If you’ve been logged out of the app, reset your password and got nowhere, or created a new account and still couldn’t connect, you haven’t done anything wrong. The app your sauna originally shipped with ran on a legacy third-party system that’s no longer supported.

Your sauna itself hasn’t changed. Heating, temperature, session time and lighting all work exactly as they always have from the touchscreen inside it, and Bluetooth audio is unaffected. The one thing you’ve lost is control from your phone.

Rather than keep depending on a platform we don’t control, we’re developing our own Found—Space app from the ground up. One we own, run, and can keep improving. Getting you back to starting and controlling your sauna from your phone is the first thing we’re building.

The goal is to have it live by the end of the year, hopefully a little sooner. We’d rather get it right than rush it and hand you something that lets you down again.

Because we’re starting fresh, nothing is locked. What goes into the first release is genuinely still open, and the people who use these saunas every day know better than we do what matters.

Common questions

Does my sauna still work?
Yes. Everything runs as normal from the touchscreen inside the sauna — heating, temperature, session time and lighting. Nothing there has changed.
What about my ice bath?
It runs from its own onboard controls, so cooling and operation carry on as normal. Remote access for ice baths ran through the old platform too. Once the app has sauna control working, ice baths are next.
My Bluetooth speakers won't connect. Is that the app?
No — Bluetooth audio is completely separate and still works. This resolves it in most cases: forget the sauna in your phone's Bluetooth settings (and on any other phone that's been paired to it), turn the sauna off at the wall for at least 10 minutes, then turn it back on and pair again. The usual cause is another device still holding the pairing. If it still won't connect after a couple of goes, the module may need replacing — an inexpensive part and a simple swap. Log a service ticket and we'll sort it.
My Wi-Fi says connected but I can't control the sauna. What should I do?
Nothing, for now. Connecting to Wi-Fi doesn't currently give you remote control, because that ran through the old platform. There's no need to reset your router or move access points — your network is almost certainly fine. When the new app arrives we'll publish simple steps for connecting your sauna.
My touchscreen freezes. Is that related?
No, that's a separate hardware issue and there's a known permanent fix. Turning the sauna off at the wall gets you going again short-term. Log a service ticket and we'll get it done properly.
When will the app be ready?
The goal is to have it live by the end of the year, and hopefully a little sooner. Writing an app from scratch and testing it properly takes time, and we'd rather do that than rush. The team is actively building now, and remote access and control is the first priority.
