FS-1 Software Update: July 2024 Release Notes

At Found—Space, we are committed to continuously enhancing the FS-1 Control System to provide a seamless and optimized experience for sauna users. The July 2024 update introduces key improvements to performance, functionality, and usability across both the FS-1 control panel and mobile applications.

Below is a detailed breakdown of the latest enhancements and how to update your system.

Control Panel Firmware Updates (FS-1 Control System)

A firmware update is now available for FS-1 enabled saunas. Users will receive a prompt to update their system. This update includes:

• Performance and Speed Enhancements – Improved system responsiveness and faster load times.
• Expanded Keyboard Support – Additional character compatibility for an improved user experience.
• Time Zone and Clock Fixes – Resolved synchronization issues for accurate scheduling.
• Updated Wi-Fi Setup Flow – Improved connection stability and streamlined setup.

How to update your sauna’s firmware:

1. Navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings on the FS-1 control panel.
2. Restart the sauna before updating if required.
3. The update may also be performed via the iOS App (details below).

iOS App Update (Apple Devices)

A new version of the Found—Space App for iOS is now available, featuring:

• Push Notifications – Users can now receive notifications when their sauna reaches the desired temperature.
• Customizable Alerts – Manage push notifications for each paired sauna within the app settings.
• Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements – Improved system stability and reliability.

Note: To enable push notifications, ensure the sauna firmware is updated. Notifications may not function correctly if the firmware remains outdated.

Android App Now Available

The Found—Space App is now available for Android devices, allowing users to:

• Control Sauna Settings – Adjust temperature, session duration, and settings remotely.
• Access Educational Content – View guides and insights on sauna use and wellness benefits.
• Manage System Settings – Configure personal preferences for a customized experience.

Note: The Android app does not currently support ice bath controls and may be a version behind the iOS app as updates roll out.

How to Update Your Sauna and App

On the FS-1 Control Panel:

• Navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings and follow the update prompt.
• Restart the sauna before updating if necessary.

On the Found—Space iOS App:

• Open the app and select the paired sauna in Settings.
• If an update is available, the app will prompt you to update the firmware.

On Android Devices:

• Download the Found—Space App from the Google Play Store.
