Ever had that moment where something felt too good to be true, but for whatever reason you go against your gut and make a decision anyway? Perhaps it’s purchasing that all-most out of date tub of olives at Coles. Perhaps it’s purchasing a sauna. We know that generally when things are too good to be true, they are. But maybe, in an unregulated market, you don’t know whether it’s too good to be true or not, and so you buy the olives only to find out later, they are off, they taste horrible and you can’t take them back and if it were the sauna industry, there wouldn’t even be anyone at the deli to answer your complaint. They sold you the olives, got the cash and disappeared. Welcome to the dark side of the sauna industry – warranty and after sales service.
In this blog i will cover:
The key to offering a good warranty is the ability to actually back up the warranty. It’s easy to say lifetime warranty on this, 20 year warranty on that, however if you don’t have the parts in stock, and they’re not easily accessible to the the guys out there in the field who can actually do the work- then it is hard for clients to actually access that warranty.
No one should be waiting 8 – 10 weeks to receive their parts for their sauna or worse off, sometimes not even receiving those parts or worse yet, not even getting anyone on the phone in the first place.
All of our saunas are Australian electrically certified (the only company who have this by the way) and because of all the legislative hoops we had to jump through to achieve that electrical certification, the likely hood of you having an issue with one of our saunas is very little. However should something go wrong, we have parts, in stock, in Melbourne, all the time, for the last 15 years of sauna models we have designed and sold.
We have installers, in every state, who have been working with our saunas for a long time (in some cases 10 years) and actually enjoy working with our product. So if something goes wrong, you don’t have to wait long periods of time for your sauna to be back up and running.
This is part of what you get when you invest in an Australian business with 16 years experience in the Australian sauna industry. This is why sometimes you pay a little more. Just like the saying ‘if things are too good to be true, they often are’, the saying ‘you get what you pay for’ is also true, especially in the sauna industry.
Too often people ask us to help fix their sauna, because when it stopped working, the company they purchased it off no longer answered the phone. Funny that. And then the clients get’s angry at us because we won’t help them. It’s not that we don’t want to, we just don’t have the parts for their saunas. In our world, everyone would have a beautiful, working sauna to use everyday.
What is a real shame is when someone goes through an experience where they are burned by the sauna company with whom they purchased their sauna from. Leaving a bad taste in their mouth and leaving a bad association with the infrared sauna industry as a whole. Maybe they don’t pursue infrared sauna anymore, leaving them missing out on what is one of the most powerful health giving products on the market.
We are an Australian business who has an the infrastructure to service Australia, because we live here and we understand the complexities associated with Australian logistic.
